Eindelijk, eindelijk is het zover, ook wij gaan nu vertrekken.
Shiva én Aybo op de plek, voor de kipjes en de vissen wordt goed gezorgd, afscheid genomen van familie, kleinkinderen, vriendjes en vriendinnetjes, wij zijn er klaar voor.
Als je later vakantie hebt, lijkt het alsof dat je er steeds meer en meer aan toe bent.
Dit jaar mocht Hans een eerste voorzet geven, en zoals verwacht, werd het Suriname. Een land wat al langer bij ons allen op het wensenlijstje stond, maar bij Hans stond Suriname vet bovenaan.
Een bijzonder land, rondreizen kan hier niet, alle routes beginnen of eindigen in Paramaribo, de hoofdstad.
Suriname is maar een klein landje zegt Drees, en inderdaad met Brazilië als buurland, valt Suriname in het niet.
Ook qua inwoneraantal is Suriname bijzonder, ruim 500.000 mensen wonen hier, terwijl het land 4 maal zo groot is als Nederland.
Suriname is volgens de boeken ook een land met weinig toeristen, 35.000 op jaarbasis, dat is echt een bijzonder laag getal. We denken dat Amsterdam deze aantallen bijna maandelijks ontvangt.
Maar, wij hebben er zin in, het beloofd weer een mooie, bijzondere trip te gaan worden.
Een collega zei, je kan ook naar de Bijlmer gaan, Surinamers genoeg daar. Een aantal gedetineerden was jaloers, Suriname is volgens hen de place to be, kortom, smaken verschillen, gelukkig.
Vanochtend al vroeg uit de veren, om 09.00 uur verzamelen op station Deurne. Marion heeft enkele weken geleden op de NS planner gekeken, en juist voor deze week werden er werkzaamheden aangekondigd op het spoor tussen Nijmegen en Arnhem. Dus alternatieve route, via Deurne. Bijkomend voordeel, we reizen aan een stuk door naar Schiphol. Wel zo gemakkelijk.
Na 1 uur en 45 min komen wij op Schiphol aan, ruim op tijd.
Op zoek naar de incheckbalie zien we een enorme rij. Inchecken thuis lukte niet, dus aansluiten.
Het wachten duurt lang, zeker als Marion op een normale vraag niet eens op fatsoenlijke manier een antwoord krijgt. Jeetje wat een bitch.
Gelukkig de koffers weg, en ingecheckt. Nu eerst een kop koffie, waarvoor we nog net 30 minuten de tijd hebben.
Boarden en op naar Paramaribo. Ons staat een vlucht van 09.15 uur te wachten volgens de piloot.
En ook bijzonder, we boeken bij Suriname airways, en gaan nu de lucht in met Tui. 2 vluchten bij elkaar genomen, maakt 1 vliegtuig vol.
Na enige tijd voelen we alle spieren, we weten niet meer hoe te zitten én jeetje wat een feest om in de herfstvakantie te reizen. Voor ons gevoel een reis lang met een jankend kind. Zielig voor het kind en de ouders, maar ook wij hadden er bijna schoon genoeg van.
Het einde komt in zicht, Paramaribo, here we are.
Aangekomen op het vliegveld, belanden wij in de rij voor de paspoortcontrole.
Pas op het einde zien we dat we in een rij zijn belandt voor 60+ ers, oeps, foutje, maar terugkeren is effe geen optie.en worden toch vriendelijk geholpen.
We worden opgewacht door Erwin, een vrolijke man die ons direct veel kan vertellen over Suriname, de geschiedenis en sommige gebruiken.
Hij brengt ons naar Kekemba, een klein resort, waar wij onze eigen studio’s toegewezen krijgen.
Op naar de winkel twee deuren verder voor een drankje en een hapje en ontbijt voor morgen. Want bij Kekemba is verder niets te halen. Gezellige gast de eigenaar van de “ supermarkt” en bij hem ook meteen het avondeten besteld voor morgen. Zijn vrouw zal voor ons koken. Surinaams. Hierna thuis op terras aan een Surinaams Parbo biertje en dan heerlijk naar bed. Temp is nu nog 24 graden middernacht. Klam plak weer. Maar niet zeuren. Dit is wat er willen.

Pas op het einde zien we dat we in een rij zijn belandt voor 60+ ers, oeps, foutje, maar terugkeren is effe geen optie.en worden toch vriendelijk geholpen.
We worden opgewacht door Erwin, een vrolijke man die ons direct veel kan vertellen over Suriname, de geschiedenis en sommige gebruiken.
Hij brengt ons naar Kekemba, een klein resort, waar wij onze eigen studio’s toegewezen krijgen.
Op naar de winkel twee deuren verder voor een drankje en een hapje en ontbijt voor morgen. Want bij Kekemba is verder niets te halen. Gezellige gast de eigenaar van de “ supermarkt” en bij hem ook meteen het avondeten besteld voor morgen. Zijn vrouw zal voor ons koken. Surinaams. Hierna thuis op terras aan een Surinaams Parbo biertje en dan heerlijk naar bed. Temp is nu nog 24 graden middernacht. Klam plak weer. Maar niet zeuren. Dit is wat er willen.

Eindelijk, eindelijk is het zover, ook wij gaan nu vertrekken.
Shiva én Aybo op de plek, voor de kipjes en de vissen wordt goed gezorgd, afscheid genomen van familie, kleinkinderen, vriendjes en vriendinnetjes, wij zijn er klaar voor.
Als je later vakantie hebt, lijkt het alsof dat je er steeds meer en meer aan toe bent.
Dit jaar mocht Hans een eerste voorzet geven, en zoals verwacht, werd het Suriname. Een land wat al langer bij ons allen op het wensenlijstje stond, maar bij Hans stond Suriname vet bovenaan.
Een bijzonder land, rondreizen kan hier niet, alle routes beginnen of eindigen in Paramaribo, de hoofdstad.
Suriname is maar een klein landje zegt Drees, en inderdaad met Brazilië als buurland, valt Suriname in het niet.
Ook qua inwoneraantal is Suriname bijzonder, ruim 500.000 mensen wonen hier, terwijl het land 4 maal zo groot is als Nederland.
Suriname is volgens de boeken ook een land met weinig toeristen, 35.000 op jaarbasis, dat is echt een bijzonder laag getal. We denken dat Amsterdam deze aantallen bijna maandelijks ontvangt.
Maar, wij hebben er zin in, het beloofd weer een mooie, bijzondere trip te gaan worden.
Een collega zei, je kan ook naar de Bijlmer gaan, Surinamers genoeg daar. Een aantal gedetineerden was jaloers, Suriname is volgens hen de place to be, kortom, smaken verschillen, gelukkig.
Vanochtend al vroeg uit de veren, om 09.00 uur verzamelen op station Deurne. Marion heeft enkele weken geleden op de NS planner gekeken, en juist voor deze week werden er werkzaamheden aangekondigd op het spoor tussen Nijmegen en Arnhem. Dus alternatieve route, via Deurne. Bijkomend voordeel, we reizen aan een stuk door naar Schiphol. Wel zo gemakkelijk.
Na 1 uur en 45 min komen wij op Schiphol aan, ruim op tijd.
Op zoek naar de incheckbalie zien we een enorme rij. Inchecken thuis lukte niet, dus aansluiten.
Het wachten duurt lang, zeker als Marion op een normale vraag niet eens op fatsoenlijke manier een antwoord krijgt. Jeetje wat een bitch.
Gelukkig de koffers weg, en ingecheckt. Nu eerst een kop koffie, waarvoor we nog net 30 minuten de tijd hebben.
Boarden en op naar Paramaribo. Ons staat een vlucht van 09.15 uur te wachten volgens de piloot.
En ook bijzonder, we boeken bij Suriname airways, en gaan nu de lucht in met Tui. 2 vluchten bij elkaar genomen, maakt 1 vliegtuig vol.
Na enige tijd voelen we alle spieren, we weten niet meer hoe te zitten én jeetje wat een feest om in de herfstvakantie te reizen. Voor ons gevoel een reis lang met een jankend kind. Zielig voor het kind en de ouders, maar ook wij hadden er bijna schoon genoeg van.
Het einde komt in zicht, Paramaribo, here we are.
Aangekomen op het vliegveld, belanden wij in de rij voor de paspoortcontrole.
Pas op het einde zien we dat we in een rij zijn belandt voor 60+ ers, oeps, foutje, maar terugkeren is effe geen optie.en worden toch vriendelijk geholpen.
We worden opgewacht door Erwin, een vrolijke man die ons direct veel kan vertellen over Suriname, de geschiedenis en sommige gebruiken.
Hij brengt ons naar Kekemba, een klein resort, waar wij onze eigen studio’s toegewezen krijgen.
Op naar de winkel twee deuren verder voor een drankje en een hapje en ontbijt voor morgen. Want bij Kekemba is verder niets te halen. Gezellige gast de eigenaar van de “ supermarkt” en bij hem ook meteen het avondeten besteld voor morgen. Zijn vrouw zal voor ons koken. Surinaams. Hierna thuis op terras aan een Surinaams Parbo biertje en dan heerlijk naar bed. Temp is nu nog 24 graden middernacht. Klam plak weer. Maar niet zeuren. Dit is wat er willen.

Eindelijk, eindelijk is het zover, ook wij gaan nu vertrekken.
Shiva én Aybo op de plek, voor de kipjes en de vissen wordt goed gezorgd, afscheid genomen van familie, kleinkinderen, vriendjes en vriendinnetjes, wij zijn er klaar voor.
Als je later vakantie hebt, lijkt het alsof dat je er steeds meer en meer aan toe bent.
Dit jaar mocht Hans een eerste voorzet geven, en zoals verwacht, werd het Suriname. Een land wat al langer bij ons allen op het wensenlijstje stond, maar bij Hans stond Suriname vet bovenaan.
Een bijzonder land, rondreizen kan hier niet, alle routes beginnen of eindigen in Paramaribo, de hoofdstad.
Suriname is maar een klein landje zegt Drees, en inderdaad met Brazilië als buurland, valt Suriname in het niet.
Ook qua inwoneraantal is Suriname bijzonder, ruim 500.000 mensen wonen hier, terwijl het land 4 maal zo groot is als Nederland.
Suriname is volgens de boeken ook een land met weinig toeristen, 35.000 op jaarbasis, dat is echt een bijzonder laag getal. We denken dat Amsterdam deze aantallen bijna maandelijks ontvangt.
Maar, wij hebben er zin in, het beloofd weer een mooie, bijzondere trip te gaan worden.
Een collega zei, je kan ook naar de Bijlmer gaan, Surinamers genoeg daar. Een aantal gedetineerden was jaloers, Suriname is volgens hen de place to be, kortom, smaken verschillen, gelukkig.
Vanochtend al vroeg uit de veren, om 09.00 uur verzamelen op station Deurne. Marion heeft enkele weken geleden op de NS planner gekeken, en juist voor deze week werden er werkzaamheden aangekondigd op het spoor tussen Nijmegen en Arnhem. Dus alternatieve route, via Deurne. Bijkomend voordeel, we reizen aan een stuk door naar Schiphol. Wel zo gemakkelijk.
Na 1 uur en 45 min komen wij op Schiphol aan, ruim op tijd.
Op zoek naar de incheckbalie zien we een enorme rij. Inchecken thuis lukte niet, dus aansluiten.
Het wachten duurt lang, zeker als Marion op een normale vraag niet eens op fatsoenlijke manier een antwoord krijgt. Jeetje wat een bitch.
Gelukkig de koffers weg, en ingecheckt. Nu eerst een kop koffie, waarvoor we nog net 30 minuten de tijd hebben.

Eindelijk, eindelijk is het zover, ook wij gaan nu vertrekken.
Shiva én Aybo op de plek, voor de kipjes en de vissen wordt goed gezorgd, afscheid genomen van familie, kleinkinderen, vriendjes en vriendinnetjes, wij zijn er klaar voor.
Als je later vakantie hebt, lijkt het alsof dat je er steeds meer en meer aan toe bent.
Dit jaar mocht Hans een eerste voorzet geven, en zoals verwacht, werd het Suriname. Een land wat al langer bij ons allen op het wensenlijstje stond, maar bij Hans stond Suriname vet bovenaan.
Een bijzonder land, rondreizen kan hier niet, alle routes beginnen of eindigen in Paramaribo, de hoofdstad.
Suriname is maar een klein landje zegt Drees, en inderdaad met Brazilië als buurland, valt Suriname in het niet.
Ook qua inwoneraantal is Suriname bijzonder, ruim 500.000 mensen wonen hier, terwijl het land 4 maal zo groot is als Nederland.
Suriname is volgens de boeken ook een land met weinig toeristen, 35.000 op jaarbasis, dat is echt een bijzonder laag getal. We denken dat Amsterdam deze aantallen bijna maandelijks ontvangt.
Maar, wij hebben er zin in, het beloofd weer een mooie, bijzondere trip te gaan worden.
Een collega zei, je kan ook naar de Bijlmer gaan, Surinamers genoeg daar. Een aantal gedetineerden was jaloers, Suriname is volgens hen de place to be, kortom, smaken verschillen, gelukkig.
Vanochtend al vroeg uit de veren, om 09.00 uur verzamelen op station Deurne. Marion heeft enkele weken geleden op de NS planner gekeken, en juist voor deze week werden er werkzaamheden aangekondigd op het spoor tussen Nijmegen en Arnhem. Dus alternatieve route, via Deurne. Bijkomend voordeel, we reizen aan een stuk door naar Schiphol. Wel zo gemakkelijk.
Na 1 uur en 45 min komen wij op Schiphol aan, ruim op tijd.
Op zoek naar de incheckbalie zien we een enorme rij. Inchecken thuis lukte niet, dus aansluiten.
Het wachten duurt lang, zeker als Marion op een normale vraag niet eens op fatsoenlijke manier een antwoord krijgt. Jeetje wat een bitch.
Gelukkig de koffers weg, en ingecheckt. Nu eerst een kop koffie, waarvoor we nog net 30 minuten de tijd hebben.
Boarden en op naar Paramaribo. Ons staat een vlucht van 09.15 uur te wachten volgens de piloot.
En ook bijzonder, we boeken bij Suriname airways, en gaan nu de lucht in met Tui. 2 vluchten bij elkaar genomen, maakt 1 vliegtuig vol.
Na enige tijd voelen we alle spieren, we weten niet meer hoe te zitten én jeetje wat een feest om in de herfstvakantie te reizen. Voor ons gevoel een reis lang met een jankend kind. Zielig voor het kind en de ouders, maar ook wij hadden er bijna schoon genoeg van.
Het einde komt in zicht, Paramaribo, here we are.
Aangekomen op het vliegveld, belanden wij in de rij voor de paspoortcontrole.
Pas op het einde zien we dat we in een rij zijn belandt voor 60+ ers, oeps, foutje, maar terugkeren is effe geen optie.en worden toch vriendelijk geholpen.
We worden opgewacht door Erwin, een vrolijke man die ons direct veel kan vertellen over Suriname, de geschiedenis en sommige gebruiken.
Hij brengt ons naar Kekemba, een klein resort, waar wij onze eigen studio’s toegewezen krijgen.
Op naar de winkel twee deuren verder voor een drankje en een hapje en ontbijt voor morgen. Want bij Kekemba is verder niets te halen. Gezellige gast de eigenaar van de “ supermarkt” en bij hem ook meteen het avondeten besteld voor morgen. Zijn vrouw zal voor ons koken. Surinaams. Hierna thuis op terras aan een Surinaams Parbo biertje en dan heerlijk naar bed. Temp is nu nog 24 graden middernacht. Klam plak weer. Maar niet zeuren. Dit is wat er willen.

Eindelijk, eindelijk is het zover, ook wij gaan nu vertrekken.
Shiva én Aybo op de plek, voor de kipjes en de vissen wordt goed gezorgd, afscheid genomen van familie, kleinkinderen, vriendjes en vriendinnetjes, wij zijn er klaar voor.
Als je later vakantie hebt, lijkt het alsof dat je er steeds meer en meer aan toe bent.
Dit jaar mocht Hans een eerste voorzet geven, en zoals verwacht, werd het Suriname. Een land wat al langer bij ons allen op het wensenlijstje stond, maar bij Hans stond Suriname vet bovenaan.
Een bijzonder land, rondreizen kan hier niet, alle routes beginnen of eindigen in Paramaribo, de hoofdstad.
Suriname is maar een klein landje zegt Drees, en inderdaad met Brazilië als buurland, valt Suriname in het niet.
Ook qua inwoneraantal is Suriname bijzonder, ruim 500.000 mensen wonen hier, terwijl het land 4 maal zo groot is als Nederland.
Suriname is volgens de boeken ook een land met weinig toeristen, 35.000 op jaarbasis, dat is echt een bijzonder laag getal. We denken dat Amsterdam deze aantallen bijna maandelijks ontvangt.
Maar, wij hebben er zin in, het beloofd weer een mooie, bijzondere trip te gaan worden.
Een collega zei, je kan ook naar de Bijlmer gaan, Surinamers genoeg daar. Een aantal gedetineerden was jaloers, Suriname is volgens hen de place to be, kortom, smaken verschillen, gelukkig.
Vanochtend al vroeg uit de veren, om 09.00 uur verzamelen op station Deurne. Marion heeft enkele weken geleden op de NS planner gekeken, en juist voor deze week werden er werkzaamheden aangekondigd op het spoor tussen Nijmegen en Arnhem. Dus alternatieve route, via Deurne. Bijkomend voordeel, we reizen aan een stuk door naar Schiphol. Wel zo gemakkelijk.
Na 1 uur en 45 min komen wij op Schiphol aan, ruim op tijd.
Op zoek naar de incheckbalie zien we een enorme rij. Inchecken thuis lukte niet, dus aansluiten.
Het wachten duurt lang, zeker als Marion op een normale vraag niet eens op fatsoenlijke manier een antwoord krijgt. Jeetje wat een bitch.
Gelukkig de koffers weg, en ingecheckt. Nu eerst een kop koffie, waarvoor we nog net 30 minuten de tijd hebben.
Boarden en op naar Paramaribo. Ons staat een vlucht van 09.15 uur te wachten volgens de piloot.
En ook bijzonder, we boeken bij Suriname airways, en gaan nu de lucht in met Tui. 2 vluchten bij elkaar genomen, maakt 1 vliegtuig vol.
Na enige tijd voelen we alle spieren, we weten niet meer hoe te zitten én jeetje wat een feest om in de herfstvakantie te reizen. Voor ons gevoel een reis lang met een jankend kind. Zielig voor het kind en de ouders, maar ook wij hadden er bijna schoon genoeg van.
Het einde komt in zicht, Paramaribo, here we are.
Aangekomen op het vliegveld, belanden wij in de rij voor de paspoortcontrole.
Pas op het einde zien we dat we in een rij zijn belandt voor 60+ ers, oeps, foutje, maar terugkeren is effe geen optie.en worden toch vriendelijk geholpen.
We worden opgewacht door Erwin, een vrolijke man die ons direct veel kan vertellen over Suriname, de geschiedenis en sommige gebruiken.
Hij brengt ons naar Kekemba, een klein resort, waar wij onze eigen studio’s toegewezen krijgen.
Op naar de winkel twee deuren verder voor een drankje en een hapje en ontbijt voor morgen. Want bij Kekemba is verder niets te halen. Gezellige gast de eigenaar van de “ supermarkt” en bij hem ook meteen het avondeten besteld voor morgen. Zijn vrouw zal voor ons koken. Surinaams. Hierna thuis op terras aan een Surinaams Parbo biertje en dan heerlijk naar bed. Temp is nu nog 24 graden middernacht. Klam plak weer. Maar niet zeuren. Dit is wat er willen.
